About Pegasus Pizza

PEGASUS PIZZA is a local, family-owned and operated business that first opened it's doors for business in 1989. Occupying a building, formerly a fraternity house near the University of Oregon, Pegasus Pizza quickly garnered a loyal following consisting not just of college students but a literal cross section of Eugene's diverse and colorful populace. The common denominator being the recognition the Pegasus Pizza had brought to Eugene, a love and a passion for great pizza, that quickly garnered numerous awards and accolades, among them being voted virtually every year "One of Eugene's Best" by the Eugene Weekly's Reader's Poll.

At Pegasus, despite the success as a business and the continual award recognition for superior pizza, we have never been content to rest on our laurels. We continue to seek out in the travels and research around the world, the refinements and processes that go into world class pizza. If that means buying new ovens or fine tuning the dough or sauce recipes, so be it. Great pizza is like climbing a mountain, Once you get to the top, you see other mountains that must be conquered. It's a continual challenge that always respects our customer's ever evolving sophistication and desires for quality.

Serving gourmet, hand tossed, brick oven pies, coupled with fantastic salads, a great selection of beers on tap, multiple flat screen TV's for all the important games, an outdoor deck and full bar, Pegasus on Campus is literally the gathering place that serves as a great social focal point in Eugene.

In 2010, Pegasus opened it's second location to serve the pizza aficionados on the other side of the river in the Ferry Street Bridge neighborhood. Located in the Oakway Center, Pegasus Oakway has been warmly received by those already familiar with our product and by many who had heard of us but never had tried the Pegasus approach to pizza. Needless to say, the new location in Oakway Center has been successful from day one!
